What is the story of The Garfield Movie?
As per the official synopsis: Garfield, the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic, Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.
Who stars in The Garfield Movie?
Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt voices the sardonic Garfield. This is the second iconic animated character that Pratt has voiced in the space of a year: in 2023, he voiced Super Mario in the blockbusting Super Mario Bros Movie.
Pratt is joined by the iconic Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) as the voice of Vic, Nicholas Hoult (Renfield) as Jon Arbuckle, Garfield's owner, Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) as criminal cat leader Jinx, Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible) as Otto and Brett Goldstein (another Ted Lasso star, and also the show's creative consultant) as Roland.
Plus, we get Snoop Dog as... get ready for it... Snoop Cat.
When is The Garfield Movie released at Cineworld?
The Garfield Movie is previewing at Cineworld on May 18th and 19th before its wide release on May 24th.
