Looking for something to brighten your mood in these grim times? Then director Taika Waititi is the solution, and we're not just talking about his movies.
The Thor: Ragnarok helmer, who has recently signed on to direct the new Star Wars movie, has settled in for a very special reading. Waititi is streaming a full-length read-through of Roald Dahl classic James and the Giant Peach, and he's got some equally famous company to back him up.
Across 10 episodes, Waititi is joined by the likes of the Hemsworth brothers, Liam and Chris, Benedict Cumberbatch, Meryl Streep and many more. And yes, everyone delivers the appropriate voices, with evil aunts Sponge and Spiker getting delicious interpretations from the assorted A-listers.
At the same time, Waititi and company are looking to raise money for Partners in Health to help combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The donation link is visible in the YouTube window, so scroll down and enjoy the first two juicy episodes. The new instalments will be delivered at 6PM BST every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
