We're delighted to announce that critically acclaimed comedy-drama Animals is your Cineworld Unlimited screening on 16th July.
Adapted by author Emma Jane Unsworth from her own novel, Animals is a lively tale of friendship between two young women, and proved a big hit at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. Indeed, it was described by The Guardian's Benjamin Lee as being filled with "remarkable insight and wit".
Cinderella's Holliday Grainger and Arrested Development's Alia Shawkat share terrific chemistry as Laura and Tyler, two single friends enjoying a hedonistic existence in Dublin. However, their bond hits a speed bump when Laura finds herself getting involved with a handsome piano player – will the friendship be able to survive as relationships begin to rear their head? Finding out is part of the fun in this honest and affectionate movie that's drawn comparisons with Bridesmaids and Fleabag.
