Transformers spin-off movie Bumblebee hits Cineworld screens on 24th December, and takes the blockbusting franchise in an exciting new direction.
Set in 1987, the movie shows us how the endearing yellow Autobot known as Bumblebee first arrives on Earth, and the bond he forms with young mechanic Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld).
Kubo and the Two Strings filmmaker Travis Knight takes over from Michael Bay in a nostalgic adventure that honours classic 1980s inspirations like E.T. The Extra Terrestrial (whose director, Steven Spielberg, executive produces the new Transformers epic).
We were delighted to catch up with resident scene-stealer John Cena, who plays no-nonsense military operative Jack Burns, to discuss the making of the movie – check it out below.
