What is the story of Smile 2?

The official synopsis is as follows: "About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.”

Who stars in Smile 2?

Aladdin star Naomi Scott plays the imperiled pop star Skye Riley and the cast also includes Kyle Gallner who reprises his role as Joel from the first film. Also featuring: Lukas Gage (The White Lotus) and Rosemarie DeWitt (La La Land).

Is Parker Finn directing Smile 2?

Yes, Parker Finn is directing Smile 2 having also been at the helm of the original film. Smile was adapted from Finn's 2020 short film Laura Hasn't Slept and enjoyed huge box office success, grossing $217 million against a $17 million budget. The film was also praised for its creepy atmosphere and disturbing shocks, and we can expect more of the same in Smile 2.
