Mira (Alina Schaller) is a young woman who uses sport as an escape from her demanding family life. By day she works on her family’s vineyard, made increasingly more difficult by her grandfather’s dementia and by night Mira is the captain of her local ice hockey team. This delicate balance is thrown into disarray by two new arrivals, one at the vineyard, and the other a talented rival on the ice… and, it turns out, a possible rival for her heart. Deftly mixing family drama, romance, gender identity and sports drama, and benefiting from some exhilarating music driven scenes, this entertaining character study marks a powerful feature film debut for writer / director Clara Stern. Please note: There will be no ads or trailers, so please arrive promptly at the advertised start time.
