As far as movie-watching goes, there really is nothing to rival the thrill of Cineworld's 4DX technology. With stimulating effects such as water, wind and realistic smells coming at you while you view the latest blockbusters, 4DX brings a whole new level of immersion to the cinema-going experience.
It's exactly the kind of thing that cool people on social media would want to capture and share with their friends – which is precisely why we got together with our partners at TikTok to host the world's first 4DX Creator Day at Cineworld Leicester Square.
TikTok influencers Daniel J. Layton and Amber Doig-Thorne were among the guests who attended the event on 19 May, in which we encouraged movie fans to film their reactions to our ground-breaking technology and then share the videos on TikTok using the hashtag #Experience4DX.
As guests took their seats at Cineworld Leicester Square, a tangible sense of anticipation filled the air. Moments after the lights dimmed, we unveiled a brand-new TikTok 4DX experience, with exciting trailers for upcoming Cineworld 4DX movies Jurassic World: Dominion, Top Gun: Maverick, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
As awe-inspiring sights, sounds and smells filled the auditorium, guests began to make reaction videos of themselves, to share with the world on TikTok.

Afterwards, guests headed home to get glammed up in preparation for the Top Gun: Maverick UK premiere at Cineworld. On their return to Leicester Square, they walked down the red carpet alongside the film's leading man Tom Cruise and members of the Royal Family, before watching this long-awaited movie in spectacular 4DX. What a day!
