February 3rd:

  • Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Antonio Banderas' swashbuckling moggie returns for another family-friendly adventure. The plucky Puss must confront his remaining lives along with his friend Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) in this spirited extension of the classic Shrek franchise.

  • The Whale

Brendan Fraser makes his triumphant, Oscar-nominated comeback in this moving drama of an obese, isolated English teacher who is seeking reconciliation with his estranged daughter. Darren 'Requiem for a Dream' Aronofsky directs while Hong Chau (another Oscar nominee), Sadie Sink and Samantha Morton co-star.

  • Knock at the Cabin

Twistmeister general M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense; Unbreakable; Split) is back with another skin-crawling story of terror, this time focusing on three strangers and their horrific destiny to avert the incoming global apocalypse. Dave Bautista. Jonathan Groff and Rupert Grint star.

February 10th:

  • Magic Mike's Last Dance

Is it getting hot in here? Channing Tatum's tenacious male stripper Magic Mike is back for one last ride grind as he picks up his latent steamy act in London with the help of Salma Hayek's wealthy socialite. Director Steven Soderbergh returns to the pole having sat out 2015's sequel Magic Mike XXL.

  • Women Talking

Sarah Polley's acclaimed, Oscar-nominated drama focuses on the consequences of an appalling crime that's been committed within an all-female Mennonite community. The outstanding cast includes Jessie Buckley, Claire Foy, Rooney Mara, Ben Whishaw and Frances McDormand (the last of whom also produces).

 

  • Titanic (25th anniversary 4K 3D re-release)

Nothing on Earth should come between you and this gleaming re-release of James Cameron's timeless romantic blockbuster. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are the star-crossed lovers although the real star of the show is the impeccable recreation of the ill-fated ship Titanic, still a staggering technical achievement some 25 years on.

February 17th: 

  • Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania

Marvel Phase Five kicks off with the third Ant-Man movie as Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is catapulted back into the mysterious Quantum Realm. Important Marvel puzzle pieces will be locked into place, namely the fearsome Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), whose influence on future Marvel movies will become more evident in Marvel Phase Six.

  • The Son

Florian Zeller's follow-up to his lauded, Oscar-winning drama The Father is a claustrophobic story of parental pressure and mental health trauma, sporting a strong performance from Hugh Jackman as the divorced husband and dad who must reconcile with his personal domestic failings. 

 

 

February 24th:

  • Cocaine Bear

The craziest movie of the winter season? We're calling it. Who could possibly resist this inspired-by-true-facts black comedy about an American black bear, several grams of blow and the bloody carnage that ensues? Bear costumes at your screening are completely optional.
