We caught up with the super-talented team behind Disney's latest sequel Moana 2 to chat all things animation, song-writing and demi-gods.
In the new film, the plucky Moana (voiced by Auli'i Cravalho) finds herself a mother, and also the leader of a new group of intrepid explorers. Moana must take to the azure Polynesian seas again to save her people from an ancient curse, and she's got bantering sidekick Maui (Dwayne Johnson) along for the ride again.
Songwriting and music are, of course, essential to the Disney magic. Moana 2 swaps out Lin-Manuel Miranda for the fast-writing musical duo Barlow & Bear – you may know them best for the stage hit The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical.
