Deadpool & Wolverine is nearly here. It's the only Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie of 2025, the first MCU Deadpool movie, the third Deadpool movie overall and the first to unite Ryan Reynolds' anti-heroic superhero with Hugh Jackman's grizzled Wolverine.
We have loads of questions about Wolverine's appearance given that he died at the end of 2017's Logan (or, at least, a version of him died – there's evidently going to be a multiversal explanation for all of this). The BBFC has confirmed the film as a 15, another MCU first, for bloody violence and irreverent, NSFW humour. In other words, it promises everything we expect from a Deadpool film.
But there's an even bigger mystery at play in the movie: who is playing Lady Deadpool? The enigmatic character, known as Wanda Wilson in the Marvel comics, appears briefly in the trailer and is poised to blow the roof off movie theatres this July.
