Marching Powder star Danny Dyer tries to keep it family-friendly during our interview

Director Nick Love and Britain's favourite geezer Danny Dyer reunite for this week's outrageous new 'working-class rom-com' Marching Powder.

The lads previously collaborated on the hard-hitting likes of The Football Factory and The Firm. Now they bring us the story of Jack (Dyer), an aging, drug-taking football hooligan who feels increasingly irrelevant in today’s society as he struggles to keep his family together.

It's 18-rated, so you can expect more than a little profanity and much risqué humour. We caught up with Danny and his co-star Stephanie Leonidas (in the pub, naturally) to discuss the movie – we've outlined the highlights below and the full clip is ready to watch at the end of this post.

Can Danny stop himself from turning the air blue? Well, you know what they say about bears in the woods...

Danny and Stephanie take our censorship game

Is it possible to replace the naughty phrases from the Marching Powder script and replace them with family-friendly alternatives? Danny and Stephanie were up for the challenge.

Why Marching Powder needs to be seen on the big screen

Danny talks up the big screen experience and why Marching Powder is made for the cinema.

Danny's favourite cinema snacks

We all know that a visit to Cineworld isn't complete with your co-stars in the form of tasty refreshments. It turns out Danny thinks so too, and he has some favourites of his own.
