A hero will rise in Deadpool & Wolverine – and we're not referring to the title characters played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The latest Marvel movie is instead stolen by the mutt Peggy who plays Dogpool, and who was once voted 'Britain's ugliest dog'.
Well, the joke is on the voters as Peggy won Reynolds' heart to land a prominent role in the explosive new comic book blockbuster. With the film now on release, Peggy is next set to work her magic on movie audiences, and we've got a special treat in store for Cineworlders.

You can meet Peggy from 10:30 am on Saturday, August 3rd. She will arrive fresh from her US press tour in time to meet fans at Cineworld, so don't miss your chance to snap a selfie with this unlikely movie star.
Who is Peggy?
Peggy is a five-year-old Pug and Chinese Crested cross who hails from East Yorkshire. As mentioned she was once voted the UK's "Ugliest Dog" but that hasn't stopped her meteoric rise to fame: she now has 184,000 Instagram followers. Here's a shot of her striking a pose at Cineworld.
