5 Top Gun: Maverick scenes that you need to see again in ScreenX

1. The Darkstar test

Top Gun: Maverick hits the ground (skies?) running with a dramatic opening sequence that reiterates Maverick's daredevil bonafide. Against the orders of Ed Harris' severe commanding officer, he attempts to push the prototype hypersonic "Darkstar" beyond Mach 10. He doesn't make it but it's one hell of an effort, and one hell of an opening scene to a terrific blockbuster.

2. Maverick dogfights with the cadets

We all know that Tom Cruise performs his own stunts, but for Top Gun: Maverick he got his fellow cast members to strap in and take to the skies as well. This sense of G-Force verisimilitude is what lifts Top Gun: Maverick above most of its contemporary blockbuster brethren, so don't resist the chance to amplify the experience in ScreenX.

3. Maverick's test flight through the canyon

Relive Glen Powell's star-making moment in all its ScreenX glory.
