In the devastating wake of Avengers: Endgame, Holland returns as Peter Parker/Spidey in the closing chapter of phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The story sends Peter to Europe on a school vacation where he's intercepted by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and compelled to work with multiverse figure Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). The aforementioned Zendaya and Jacon Batalon are back from 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming as love interest MJ and BFF Ned.
