New horror movie Brightburn proves that not all superheroes play nice. Produced by Guardians of the Galaxy film-maker James Gunn, it explores the grisly fallout when a young alien child (Jackson A. Dunn), raised as an ordinary human kid, embraces his terrifying abilities.
It's something of a family affair for Gunn: his brother Brian and cousin Mark co-wrote the script. Meanwhile star Elizabeth Banks reunites with Gunn following her appearance in his 2006 horror-comedy Slither.
And continuing the Guardians connection, it's directed by David Yarovesky, responsible for the insane David Hasselhoff 'Inferno' music video from Guardians Vol. 2.
